Mark, Jr., and I should be walking off the court right now but that is another thread which I will write tonight or tomorrow evening, fortunately, we are now able to watch Andy swim in his H.S. swim meet at B.G.S.U. before we officiate a boys' FR gam at 04:45pmEST, but I digress.

About ten years ago at the AAU Boys' 11U National Basketball Championships in Cocoa Beach, FL, we were having the pre-tournament officials meeting (read: beer, pizza, and cigars, , but no dancing girls, ) and the subject of OT was being discussed. I made the statement that a good team will send a game into the first OT but a good official will not allow a game to go a second OT.

The first two days of the pool play I had the first game of the day (08:30amET) at the venue and both games went double OT, .

I am a bad official, .
