If we assume that EACH of the three officials have 12 calls per minute, the total number of calls is actually 1728 calls during the game. 15 mistakes gets one up to 99.99994% -- OK, kidding, but over 99%.....
I would think that in an NBA game, the decisions are even more frequent due to the fact that the 24 second shot creates a bit more action. Never mind the fact that the clock stops after baskets late in the quarter, inbounds after time outs are in the front court, etc.
