I'm sorry, but that kid was just doing a late plate slide. He wasn't trying to take anybody out. If a seasoned player slides
that late and makes contact, there's a different situation. But if a seasoned player sticks a straight leg slide a little earlier, and clears the catcher out of the way below the knee, that's good baseball. That's how it's supposed to be taught and executed. But this kid needs sliding lessons like the man said.
