You know the policy. You know the practice. You can choose to play, quit or whine. No one has a gun to your head.
LL has encouraged umpires to lie for years. Each year you can find an umpire at the LLWS who has worked for pay.
(Before you ask me what my certificate was good for...I don't work Little League, Pony, USSSSSSSSSSSSSSA or any other little boy baseball.)
