True, we all kick calls, but these guys are doing the games and the rest of us are not, because they are supposed to be the best. We are not there, in theory, because its more likely that "one of us" would kick a call like that Hidden Ball Trick. Or blow the fair/foul call. Sorry, but those two calls cant be missed at these levels of games.
These guys are determined to be the best at what we do, that it would be unlikely for them to take their eyes off the ball. That it would be very unlikely that they would point the wrong way on a fair/foul call.
Yes, during these games these guys will be "expected" to miss a banger at first, call a pitch that would normally be called a ball is called a strike, or vice-versa.,etc. These are the calls "we all miss". But those two calls are calls they are not suppsed to get wrong. Thats why they are there.
Yes we all miss calls, but you can understand our thoughts on how THESE guys make THOSE mistakes on those calls. By having a cramp on the basics we are taught in Umpire 101.
Again, its not a missed banger at first, or a pitch called differently. Its these kinds of situations you might see on your local youth diamond, as opposed to College Baseballs biggest stage.

I agree with this 100%
