Yeah that was pretty bad. You could tell by his body language that he knew he blew that call.
I have seen some pretty questionable calls throughout the regional all the way to CWS. The hidden ball trick in the UCI- LSU game had to take the cake. The second base umpire had his back to the play and did not see the play at all, but called the out due to UCI reactions. Makes you wonder how they got to call the super regionals.
