Unfortunately, the best way to prepare you is to actually work the higher level games. I think all of us have the borderline plays that we either think should have been or shouldn't have been a foul. My questions would be did the call/no call improve the game? Ask more experienced partners what they thought about any questionable plays or look at improving your position if the call/no call is the result of a poor angle.

I woudn't continue to hesitate seeking higher level games. I think you would enjoy the challenge. Monty McCutcheon says "We are expected to be excellent, not perfect."
