Saw it, and thought to myself what idiots the announcers were. The ump made the right call. What really amazed me was that was the person who made the comment about the player having to tag the base with the ball was one of our former Olympic ball players, Michelle Smith.
On a brighter note, did you see Bobby Cox's daughter in that game? She pinch ran. (I was surprised when they announced her as his daughter, instead of granddaughter.)
