Couple games come to mind....
When I was a Freshman in HS, I was drafted to officiate a 7th grade intramural tournament. Our coach was also a certified official who ran us through a classroom and on-court clinic prior to the tournament.
One of the early round games that I did ended up 102 - 1. Eight minute running quarters, all free throws were shot. One team ended up pressing the entire game and scoring layup after layup. The free throw to score the point happened with about two minutes left in the game.
Several years later, when I started officiating HS ball, I started calling games at the local Boys Club. This was a 7-8 grade game, one team clearly better than the other. Final score was about 52 - 3. The three points were scored at the end of the third quarter. Player is just crossing the division line as he notices time is running out and just heaves the ball toward the basket. This ball was a line drive that went right in the basket. Probably the best moment of that kids life up until that point.
