As was the case with the dropped glove OP I had on Monday. DC wants me to call the out. I explained to him that R1 has the right to advance to 2B without liability to be put out, and she did nothing wrong to deserve being declared out. He grumbled a little, but accepted the answer.

I'll remember this for the rest of the junior high games I have this fall.
