I actually did this my first year in little league. I was playing center field and a ball was going out, so I just tossed my glove and it hit the ball, keeping it in play. I picked it up and threw it to second base where a stunned hitter was standing -- just off the base. He was tagged out, but as I recall, they ended up giving him a home run.
I did it again, years ago, while practicing on our softball team. Two in a million shot, I guess.
