Looking back on it, I think I could have asked him for alternatives, but it was such a dumb complaint, we just blew it off and went with blue and black.

As an official myself I probably would have used the same color "black" but after what the coach said, do you think it would have hurt to take another look at this? The point I am trying to make is, by changing to a color that may have made the players and coaches more comfortable, it also could have set a good tone to start this game.
