I understand that American Legion itself does not ban jewelry. However, as others have posted it is a state adopted rule in many areas. It is also a state rule in NC. This very question was asked at our pre-season AL meeting this year by an umpire who has worked all the way up to the American Legion World Series. We were told to apply the state rule all the way through the state tourney...
