Don't expect that your visual field is the same from any position, that is when looking down and away to your left v.s. right. Human sight doesn't work that way many times. It could be a slight mechanical issue but if you are holding your head relatively still, then that might be eliminated.

The first place to start is with an eye exam. This will tell you about straight line visual acuity; you know, the eye chart in front of you. then suggest that your Doc test you for vision deficiencies looking up, down, left, right and combinations.
