Even though I am not shy about giving out Ts (just ask Juulie), I always remember what Ed Hightower said about them: The purpose of a technical is to stop bad behavior. If you can stop the bad behavior without issuing the technical, you're just that much ahead.
Wise words, although I don't always follow them, to my displeasure.
