After rereading this scenario and some replies, my posts may have confused some.
There is nothing wrong with going to a partner for help when necessary.
When a coach is questioning your judgment alone, that is not one of the times it is necessary.
Now, if I realized I kicked a call and that coach comes to me with anything other than questioning my judgment, I may give him/her the benefit of the doubt and visit my partner unless I had a better angle than s/he.
I will not permit it to become a habit.
