Written and produced by motivational speaker Doug Hanson, the song was created to cheer up his teenage daughter’s team that made it to the National Final in July. “I wrote it to take the edge off the tension the girls were feeling before the big game” said Hanson, and sure enough it worked like a charm. Not only did his daughter’s team win, but every parent on the team wanted a copy of the song that seemed to capture the essence of the sport.
The music for the song was professionally produced by White Cat Records and performed by a group of Nashville musicians that play backup for some of Country music’s most popular groups.
