There are some very nice lists of most understood basketball rules and no doubt one of them will get posted. I have one printed out and intend to make some video clips over the summer to go along with them as an instructional aid [to parents!] for a 6th grade league.
For instace, take five offensive players, plant the pick guy in the key and make a 20-30 second clip where the big guy never moves yet there is no 3-second violation because of a combination of bringing the ball up the court and shots. There are probably about a dozen nice videos that could be make to illustrate some of the misunderstood rules.
