Why don't the officials get together and really address the problem which is that coaches should NEVER have input into official ratings and they should NEVER have a "scratch list."
Those who have a stake in winning or losing just can't be objective enough to evaluate fairly.
Around here, the coaches get the same amount of input into who and where we assign refs as we get in regard to coaching decisions. None. There should NEVER be any negative consequences or pressure for an official filing a much-deserved negative report against a coach.
