"You will never work in this gym again". Here are two funny stories, two different womens camps at the Show Me State Games in the summer. 1) 4 games going side by side on 4 courts. Adult mens game with two of the three officials being women. My supervisor and i are watching the game and all three officials are doing a great job.(not that it matters but we are all ncaa DI or DII officials). The team that lost told my supervisor he didn't want any women officials on his games. So, this team is scheduled to play two hours later. We had to do some juggling of officials but we managed to get three women to work his game. 2) I'm working a game and these two women (parents), right out of the shoot started yelling at us. I'm Lead and one the womens son got stuffed. She jumps up in my face and says you got to call a foul. I say one more word out of either of you and you both are gone. She did and i told game management to get them out. The game management guy went to my supervisor and said the two parents feel if they have to leave then they think your official should be replaced. My sup. said no i can't that but i can take all 45 officials and leave. We didn't not have any more problems.
