If a defender cannot defend a shot legally without making contact with a shooter who is airborne or a player that has reached the floor, then that would be a foul if the contact did not allow the player normal movement. Kind of contradicts your stance on that blocked shot, lots of contact after the block, no-call philosophy you have argued for in the past.
