For the first time I got hit directly on my ankle from a pitched ball that the catcher missed . Mens fastpitch .
I had padded boots and flaps over my ankle as I use the Honigs leg guards .
It still hurt and I had to pull out of a spot on the diamond for a local tournament final .
Now , as me stance is staggered my leg twists away from the right angle and I am exposed , so to speak .
It occurred to me that maybe there is a brand of leg guard that has adjusted to the staggered stance and wraps further around the inside leg .
The question is
Is there such a leg guard ?
