True enough, and it certainly appears that the Authoritative Opinion leaders of the 'net are here. More articles here than anywhere else ...

Second, you get interviews every month and news on a weekly basis. The lead time in the typical magazine is two months. Here at eUmpire, it can be two hours.

OK ... again, the "mission statement" of more info, faster is good.

Third, I did not stop the POTD at eteamz, as you would know if you visited the FED/NCAA Board, where I have been posting plays for the last month. There's a new one up right now at this URL:

My mistake. I should have been more precise, and said that you stopped the POTD at the eTeamz OBR board ... apparently (to me) in a fit of pique because few people emailed you in response to your question about whether the POTD was worth reading. My apologies for the inaccuracy.

I don't frequent the FED/NCAA board because I haven't been calling any games under those rules. I will be working fall ball under Fed rules, though, so I suppose I should start reading those interpretations.

Fourth, if you join eUmpire today or tomorrow, I'll make you this offer: If it folds before the you've finished your year, I'll send you double your membership fee -- out of my own pocket.

This is the second time in as many weeks that you've volunteered to put your money where your mouth is. I ordered (and received) the BRD recently, and while it's not as lavishly illustrated as the Referee Guidebooks, it appears to be worth my money, so I won't have to ask for your money on that count.

Now I know what my first fall ball payment is going to be used for - Umpire Improvement via eUmpire.

I just need to find the time to read all this info ...

Thanks for the feedback. And thanks to Jim Porter, too, for the sales pitch he made on the llumpires mailing list.
