Take her to the cage and let her take cuts until she breaks the bad habit. It's like working the kinks out of a golf swing

If I had to guess, she is opening her hips too soon, far ahead of her shoulders. Working a smaller step and concentrating on a level swing might be the answer. If she is holding her hands high in her stance, she may be dropping them on the delivery. She may need to adjust her stance as well so that there is not as much movement of her hands and body before the ball arrives.

Also, she if she can try to swing for the top half of the ball (not as easy in FP). Tell her to try to cut the top half of the ball off with the bat.
