During Baseball season, there are other spring sports that take place on the same days, and the same time. Schools only have one AD. A good AD will bounce between all sports going on that day.
Rarely have I ever had an AD introduce themselves to me at a game. If they are there, I don't know it.
Although, the other day, an AD came out to the parking lot, introduced himself to my partner and I, then handed us a couple of cold waters. Very small school, with limited sports.
