In football, if a player is not touching OOB, he's not OOB. He doesn't even have to be touching inbounds. If he's OOB and jumps, he's inbounds while he's airborne.

As an official, you know not to make comparisons, statements, or assumpions about a sport that you aren't as versed in. For example, don't ask me a volleyball or soccer question unless you're going to give me an opportunity to research it. Otherwise, I might say something...wrong.
