Senior told me the last night his best tip to quality officiating.

He said: "Knowing rules violations by observation is a skill of any successful referee. He went on to add these improvements - "make sure you have a well rehearsed set of "rule book quotes" that help address any player, coach, partner or assigner questions in reviewing your calls." "Quote the rule book in any discussion"

His favorites are:
"Legal/Illegal guarding Position"
"Verticality"
"Displacement"
"Unsportsman- Like"
"Team Control"
"Judgement Call"

Interesting message. Emphasis was not only on calling and managing a quality game but communication the rules by the book
