I realize we usually talk NFHS or NCAA rulings...but, his philosophy's, experiences, and insight could be very enlightning for this forum...IMO.
Afterall, a big portion of officiating is about managing people...whatever level of ball it may be.

As I understand it......
The NBRA- National Basketball Referees Association- started their own web site last year. They originally had an area where they answered rules questions, etc. The NBA Head Office told them to knock it off; they didn't want their officials discussing rules or answering rules questions publically unless it was under the strict auspices of the Head Office. Iow, they don't want Eli Roe or anybody else on their staff talking about anything that they haven't cleared first.
I may be wrong, but that's my understanding.
