B12 (qb) bootlegs to the right and hits B89 (te) who is WIDE OPEN at the B-32. He turns up field and begins a mad dash to the GL, about 1-2 yards off the team A side line.

It is evident that no one is going to catch him as he is pulling away from the defense. At the A-28 yard line A65 (who was NOT on the field) steps on the field and trips him, in an effort to protect the win. B89 stumbles and falls at the A-20. Time has expired.

A) None of the officials saw A65 step on the field (as the wing and BJ were already down field and it happened behind them.) U, HL, & R missed him stepping on the field, (screened by the players.)

B) Wing official saw it happen and after the trip, B44 blasts hiim in the back and continues to drive him down to the ground throwing punches.

C)B's coach sees it happen aand is now 1/2 across the field running and screeming his head off at A.

This is a huge mess, so what would you do in each situation. What penalties and enforcements do you issue.
Would you enforce the unfair act (9-9-1 &/or 9-9-3 and award a score?

NOTE: I actualy talked to 2 HS players about this play happening.
First, I'm sorry if I repeat with others have said (I must admit, right now I don't have time to read through all the other responses). I also will change around A and B, so A is the team with the ball and B has the lead.

In A, as already mentioned, I am a little confused by how all the officials missed this, but you can't call what you don't see, and if you truly miss the teammember coming out (or don't otherwise know he is "illegal"), I'm afraid you can't call anything.

In B and C, if its seen, award the TD for A (under rule 9-9). In B, eject A44 for punching/fighting, eject B65 for creating this mess (and write up the required reports for each!). In C, have security "guard" you from the coach and head to the dressing room, which hopefully you control entry into. Also, report the coach to the necessary 'authorites.'
