The officiating in both LCS series has been disgusting. There is the obvious call that got all of the attention in the AL series. There have also been the following:
Cuzzi's floating strike zone and arrogant ejection of Edmonds.
Grudzielanek's foul ball off his foot called fair (Game 2).
Molina's pick off of Burke that was called safe (Game 3).
Nunez's foul ball called fair (Game 3).
And two questionable calls:
Game 4's game-ending double play.
Nunez's tag on someone's triple in Game 2.
While both of those are close, the officials have given me no reason to have any confidence that they got the calls right.
There is obviously a serious problem that needs to be addressed here. I will be the first to admit that the Cardinals have played some bad baseball. But how many of those bad calls prohibited or ended a rally? Every hit counts in these pitcher's duels, and every at bat is important. How many umpiring screw ups have cost the Cardinals a chance to get things going?
Are you all this arrogant? Is this something they teach you in umpiring school? Cuzzi's lack of professionalism and failure to call a consistent strike zone should cost him his job.

Since it's your first post, I'm pretty sure you're a troll, hanging around here because McGriff's is dead. So I suggest that nobody's gonna fall for your nonsense. That said....
Cuzzi was exceptionally consistent. He called the hollow of the knee all night long though LaRussa hated that because his pitchers couldn't hit that spot. He called the strike at the letters all night long. Even the idiots in the FOX booth agreed that on second look, the pitch wasn't so "bad" as they thought.
Let's play like: You get to your office and call in an employee who has been late four days in a row. "You must get here on time!" you say sternly and forcefully. "Oh, yeah? Well, you're a f*cking idiot!!" I suggest you would probably "eject" that guy/gal.
One more thing: I take it you haven't seen the stop action photo of the ball in the first baseman's glove and the runner's foot in the air above the base. The umpire absolutely nailed that call right down to the ground. (He did a great job behind the plate tonight.)
Also, here's a word of advice when you choose your next handle: Members are more likely to listen carefully as you attack the umpires for their work in a game that St. Louis lost if they didn't
know you were a Cardinal fan.
A smart troll would have chosen Astrokid for his handle: "Hey, I love the Astros, but...." See how that would have carried more weight?
