>>getting smaller by the week<<

You better make that "getting larger." I've dropped about 25 lbs. since my first game in August, and expect to be down 40 by the end of the season. Tonight I went back to my original belt and I've put the buckle on three different holes.

>>I will restate as I did on the other board, buy a leather patent belt! <<

Thanks for the restatement, but here is one of my own, from the original post: "Honigs, who didn't have their vinyl belt in, but assured me the patent leather belt would work fine with no stains. I wore it on a chain crew last Friday without incident, but I didn't sweat much at all. Saturday, the stains were much worse than the original belt..."

I've tried it, and it is worse.

>>Also- do you wear any gym shorts underneath to hide the stripes between your pants and your undershorts? If not, that might help absorb the extra perspiration.<<

At the risk of getting too personal and giving you more info than asked for, I wear a pair of coolmax briefs, then a pair of black under armour "long" shorts, then the pants. The problem is that absorbing sweat would, if its an issue at all, make matters worse. There's no need to "hide" the stripes as I tuck my shirt into my UA shorts, and the honigs elite knickers do a great job anyway. At least in front of the mirror; can't say what they look like on the field.

Thanks for the input. Apparantly, it is either the vinyl and hope the dye is "more" permanent than the leather, or the strech one and hope the same.
