Actually, it's fairly easy to miss a 5 or 6 seconds violation if there's a lot of action and the ball is moving around a lot. To avoid the "repeatedly" accusation, you hear the coach the first time he complains (although don't acquiesce). Next time down, watch as carefully as possible. Then call it when you see it. If it doesn't happen, and coach keeps complaining, you need to have a short, terse response for the coach. "She's stepping out" "Above the free throw line is not in the key" "When she gains an advantage, I"ll call it." Often when the coahc complains loudly it solves the problem. The players hear it, and don't do it anymore.
