I can empathise with you. In addition to being an official I also have been the President of the Catholic school Athletic Association at my childrens' school for 6 years now. I too was faced with some of the same problems. No funds, little or no equipment and a program to run. Finally this year I had more help than ever and now I'm going to pass it to someone else. No more parents complaining about their kid's volunteer coach (Why don't you do it?) or playing time or coaching plans.
They're gonna miss you when you're gone!
