At the FED level, we are playing REAL baseball, not kiddy ball. If the helmet falls off (and I mean FALLS off), then play on. As soon as play ends, call time and allow the runner to retrieve his helmet.

As stated above, if the runner intentionally removes his helmet in live ball territory, there is a rule to cover that.
