Hi, does anyone have any examples of disciplinary action taken against players who have threatened an official?
e.g., threatned physical harm after the game (Car park, locker room, wherever...)

Our association is having to deal with such an instance and would like to hear about some precedent if possible, as this is a new one for us.

Looking for examples of ACTUAL punishment though, not what ought to happen!

Thanks
We had this happen in a Christian HS Tourn. where a kid complained about a call and the official (a friend of mine) stopped signed him and told him "no more", and also made sure his partner knew the player had been warned. A few minutes later the kid did the same so they T'd him up. His response was "Bull Chitakke" so partner T'd him again and told the coach "he's done". The player told both officials "he would be waiting in the parking lot for them". They got the tourn director involved and he suspended him for the rest of the tourn. I was told that he's lucky this tourn was sponsored by the Christian High School's Association and not the state because the state would really crack down but nobody was sure exactly how much they would punish.
