Mostly, I agree - for those of us who really are hooked on this game, there's little difference. I used to play fastpitch very well at the men's B level and was not too bad at the A level. I quit playing when I couldn't play anywhere near the level I was used to playing at. Even 15 years later, I still miss playing. But, doing the nearly 300 games annually that I do, it does become somewhat "business-like". And that can change the way we approach the game.
