"If it is extremely obvious that there is a double whistle for two different things, get together with your partner and try to figure out the timing of the situation. Just as you delayed your call of 3 seconds, your partner may have delayed his call on the foul.

This is not a good time to have separate calls. Get together, decide on one and go with it."

This is what happened, albeit not quite the proper way. I came up with the palm for the violation not even realizing my p had blown his whistle. He came running around to report the foul to the table and I dropped my hand, letting the foul override.
