this was a modified game..( middle school) usually these games are horrible.. but I must say.. both teams played excellent.. pitchers could throw strikes... fielders made plays.. etc.. Well I got a very good evaluation from him.. so I am pumped.. next year I just might move up to varisty.. thanks to all you guys on the board.. you all have really helped me in my progress as an umpire!!

The next time you're working with those vets, it would be a good time to make sure you have a good pre-game.
Take that oppotunity. They aren't there to hurt you. They want to be as comfortable as you.
