Don't push yourself - while a top ten game may seem like a horrible thing to turn back, it would be even worse if it was the first and last game that you worked at that level. (Even if you don't injure yourself further, you're not going to impress anyone at 50% of full speed.)
Go see a doctor - preferably a sports medicine subspecialist - or, at the very least, an athletic trainer before you even consider working this game.
