I actually wasn't working the book for today's game seeing I flew back on an 11:30 flight (the game started at noon, and the only other option was 6:30am - not happening with my family!). The folks on the clock & shot clock are the ones with whom I usually work, though, so I'll take a little bit of the credit. :-p (We usually get pretty high marks from the game officials who say anything to us.)

I was up in the corner of the gym when I did get there (didn't think it would be filled - today is the first day for students to come back and classes don't start until Tuesday), and I was definately blocked out on whether the shot touched the rim. Luckily, we got the reset (then, unluckily, fouled the shooter on UMass's next posession).

I was actually wondering about two things. First, the change from a 3 to a 2 (by GW) - my eyesight is getting pretty bad from far away, and I was far away, but even I could tell it was clearly a 2. Were the TV replays just inconclusive (I swear it was at least 2 minutes to review).

Also, what did you think about the no-call on the UMass backcourt violation on their last posession?
