Maybe the NBA does not consider them jewelry. Their rules are not always the same as the NCAA or NF.
Rules??? Rules??? We're talking about the NBA. A player can punch a fan in the face and then play on Christmas day.
Money rules the NBA.
I will NEVER watch another NBA game.
I do not know of any pro level that follows the same rules and practices of the NCAA and NF Rulebook. Remember these guys are getting paid millions of dollars. These are not kids that cannot "feed their families" by playing basketball. The NBA has a collective bargaining agreement to dictate certain rules and regulations to run the league. I am sure there is not big push to make those things jewelry. Could they outlaw them? Of course they could. When I watch Major League Baseball I see pitchers wearing jewelry all the time that does not apply to the NCAA or the NF levels. I did not realize this was such a big deal.
