I don't know bo-diddly about NFL rules except you have to be down by contact to be down. So it seems pretty obvious to this NFL illiterate that if this tangle foot receiver falls down on his own accord, the ball comes loose, it's a fumble.
NCAA and NF I would rule differently as something other than his hand/foot has probably touched the turf first.
