How do you know the coach had anything at all to do with the steal of home? Could have been that R3 did it on his own.
I think I would have mentioned it to the coach between innings, like, Gee coach that batter missed your steal signal, lucky R3 didn't get killed, or something of that nature. At least by doing that, you have made the coach aware of a dangerous situation and could stop it from happening again. G.
