You know, if you would actually read what I write instead of composing your slam in your head it would help. I was not giving a dissertation on the rules, but talking about the rationale behind them. If you can tolerate another indication of greater than a HS education, the term is
in loco parentis, which drives how the high schools handles these kinds of situations.
