Telling the inbounder - yes, I know it's girls Jr High in this example - but telling the inbounder to 'back up a little' is also know as c-o-a-c-h-i-n-g.
You are injecting yourself into the game, favoring the offfense in this case. If the court has the required space for the out of bounds player to execute a throw in...make the ball available and just let 'em play.
