Unhappy

I think we all have dealt with coaches with the same philosophy. I usually tell a coach that conducts himself that way that "I don't help you coach, so please don't help me referee". I call these type of coaches "chiuauas" because they are like a small dog nipping at your ankles. Little comments like "thats a walk" or "illegal screen" every time down the floor are irritating as well as potentially distracting if you let them be. Let the coach know if he has a legitimate concern, have him/her talk to you at a time out or a dead ball, otherwise his/her concerns will not be heard if the coach is constantly nipping at your heels. It is much like the kid who cries wolf, when there is something they really want heard, you won't give them the consideration they want!
