In fact i was bumped today by a 16u coach who didnt like an obstruction call. Which leads me to my next ? I have reported it to the controlling board for their action, but i was wondering does a bump constitute assult or battery. I live in IL and I am 16 still yound enough to be considered a minor.

This physical contact by an adult(?) was more than inappropriate, it was illegal. It would also be illegal if you were an adult.
Law enforcement should be called. If your board, scheduler, or UIC doesn't make the call then you or your parents should report this AND file charges.
THIS TYPE OF ACTION CAN NEVER BE TOLERATED
Too many good sports officials are threatend, and injured by hot-tempered idiots who have no business being at a sporting event, or even in the general public. If this coach is allowed to remain a coach, what will he do next? what will others do next?
