A few years ago I had an American flag put on one of my official shirt's left shoulder. I carry two shirts in my bag...one with a flag and one without. If my partner has a flag I will wear the shirt with a flag. If my partner does not have a flag I will wear the one without a flag. (All in the sake of uniformity...I do have to admit I haven't followed this self imposed rule steadfastly, but most of the time I do...especially at Districts and above.)
Our association has left it up to each individual, weather we want a flag on our shirt or not, so it can create a problem if both officials want to look uniform.
