Each league must forward their team rosters to the District Commissioner and Babe Ruth baseball. Assuming neither said anything the presumption would be they are ok with the exception. This is one of those rules that is often overlooked. The District Commissioner rarely gets invovled in how a league runs their own shop, but is extremely involved in District tournament regulations. As a former District Commissioner, if this was brought to me I would tell the League President to handle it. If I were League President I would call a coach's meeting and ask the 12 managers for feedback on how they wanted me to handle it. I bet 11 of them would say to heck with it and we would move on with the rest of the season.
