Odur "onsides kick signal" is usually execute after the HL has started jogging to the sideline after handing the ball to the kicker. The actual "signal" is something you and your crew need to agree on. My suggestion is that it look like one of your common mannerisms - that way you're not tipping off the other team.
Obviously the signal is only effective if the other 4 crew members are watching the HL and can clearly see your signal.
